The GPLTC Incubator

The Gemstone Processing and Lapidary Training Centre (GPLTC) with support from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) who provided the equipment, set up an incubator to help mitigate the employment challenges faced by the graduates. This incubator is currently hard at work producing for mining houses, associations and walk in clientele. The graduates will then be weaned off to the industry and other graduates take their place. The result will be a vibrant gemstone processing industry that will create meaningful jobs for the youth.
